Matthew Parke
Managing Director

With over 20 years of experience as an educator and coach, Matt Parke comes to the Ordinal Sports Group serving as the Managing Director. Having worked for seven different NCAA Institutions at the DI, DII and DIII levels gives him a unique perspective when it comes to advising collegiate athletic departments.

 

Parke has also worked extensively with athletic scheduling. Having constructed a number of NCAA DI and DIII Conference schedules, he established and operated MBBscheduling, a company that registered over 125 DI men’s basketball programs as users that coordinated non-conference scheduling.

 

Along with his understanding of collegiate operations, Parke has collaborated with numerous High School athletic departments and coaching staffs to become more efficient and streamlined. His educational background includes earning a B.A. in Economics from Colby College, as well an M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina.

Jeaney Garcia
Senior Consultant

An experienced athletic administrator, Garcia has served as Athletic Director at Brentwood (CA), Punahou (HI) and currently Bosque (NM) Schools. She also has presented motivational workshops worldwide, primarily for Positive Coaching Alliance, on a variety of topics centered around creating a positive sports culture and effective performance in inclusive environments.

 

Respected nationally for her knowledge and expertise, Garcia was selected to serve as a member of the National Federation of High School Associations (NFHS) Rules Committee. She has been honored as "Coach of the Year" for numerous schools and organizations, including Sport for Understanding (SFU) based in Washington, D.C., where she was the National SFU coach for cross-country, basketball, and track and field.  Garcia is also a senior pickleball competitor sponsored by Selkirk and the 7x Senior World Games Champion. Her educational background includes a B.S. in Exercise Science and Nutrition; M.S. in Kinesiology, MAA in Athletic Administration, and she is a Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA).

Bob Malekoff.png
Dr. Robert Malekoff  Ed.D
Senior Advisor

Dr. Malekoff, a former professor of Sports Administration at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, brings a wealth of knowledge in many areas of higher education and athletics. After serving as an NCAA coach, including as Princeton’s Head Women’s Soccer Coach, Malekoff served as the Director of Athletics at Connecticut College followed by the College of Wooster.

 

A noted commentator and consultant on a variety of issues related to sport, Malekoff served as Director of Research for the Center for the Study of Sport in Society at Northeastern University and was a Senior Advisor for the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation’s College Sports Project, an initiative aimed at maximizing the educational value of intercollegiate athletic participation and promoting the integration of campus academic, athletic, and student life dimensions. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Physical Education from Bowling Green State University and the University of Delaware respectively. He went on to earn an M.Ed. in Administration, Planning, and Public Policy from Harvard University and an Ed. D. in Educational Leadership from Ashland University.

Dr. Elizabeth Dornbos PhD., ATC
Medical Consultant

A former collegiate athlete herself, Dr. Dornbos serves as the Ordinal Sports Group’s Medical Consultant. Her ability to advise on best practices to handle individual sport Emergency Action Plans, as well as NCAA Guidelines has been invaluable to Athletic Administrations and Sports Medicine staffs

She earned her B.A. degree in Athletic Training from Hope College, an M.S. degree in Exercise and Sport Science (with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology) from the University of Utah and a Ph.D. in Education (with an emphasis in Kinesiology and Biomechanics) from the University of Hawaii.  She is also a certified Athletic Trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. 

Currently Dr. Dornbos serves as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Program at the University of Arkansas. She was previously an Assistant Professor and the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Athletic Training Program at California State University Northridge.  Her research interest areas include: knee biomechanics, osteoarthritis, and post-operative function of patients undergoing total or partial knee arthroplasty.
